Movie Production at Westgate Plaza
“Shooting Stars”
On June 9th, NBC Universal & SpringHIll Company utilized our Westgate Plaza and Swenson’s Drive-In restaurant to film, “Shooting Stars”, a new movie about Lebron James, staring Marquis “Mookie” Cook and Caleb McLaughlin. The movie is about Lebron, his friends, and teammates and is set in Akron during Lebron’s high school years. The entire cast and crew were in full swing for the day of production.
